About the Squash Club
About the Martinborough Squash Courts
The squash courts and club are an asset to South Wairarapa, providing a popular recreational facility for residents of all ages. The courts are the only squash courts in South Wairarapa.
The club, which describes itself as a small, but vibrant club with a friendly, rural atmosphere offers the following:
- Coaching sessions (including a specific night for junior players)
- Club nights (including a specific club night for junior players
- Business house (where teams from local businesses play each other)
- Interclub night
- Tournaments which draw participants from across the region
The club is active in upgrading the courts. In the interior; the kitchen was replaced in 2017, the barriers between the viewing mezzanine and the courts have recently been upgraded to glass, and digital scoring has now been implemented. On the exterior the building has been recently painted to match the new Golf Clubrooms.
